Learning to cope with the stresses and anxieties of everyday life through mindfulness, meditation, and awareness can help you remain much more mentally alert and be well-balanced.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a gentle form of exercise that can help maintain strength, flexibility, and balance. It can be a perfect form of activity for the rest of your life. It is often described as “meditation in motion”. The martial art has evolved over the years into an effective means of alleviating stress and anxiety and promotes serenity and inner peace. This is why The Meditation Lodge Retreat includes this ancient practice in this retreat.

Yoga

Yoga is another ancient mind and body discipline that keeps the body flexible and the mind balanced and quiet. Some very basic yoga practices are included to help with mindfulness and relaxation.

Mindfulness

Mindfuless and Meditation practices are guided step by step and empower the practioner to bring peace, serenity and wellbeing to their outer and inner struggles

 

Retreat Description

During this retreat, you will be staying in The Meditation Lodge Retreat. The Meditation Lodge Retreat appeals to all people, whether you are in a vulnerable place or just want to have some “me time” to re-discover your inner self.

The Retreat is surrounded by countryside, hills, and mountains, close to the historical village of Busot, yet only 15 minutes from the coastal resort of El Campello and 25 minutes from the Alicante-Elche Airport (ALC).

The Meditation Lodge Retreat offers three twin or double bedrooms, two with ensuite bathrooms and two with a shared bathroom, a large and tranquil garden, a swimming pool, and a wooden lodge in the garden, from which the retreat takes its name.

Enjoy the experience of glamping in our Luna Bell. Beautifully furnished in an eastern style with a comfortable double bed and double bed sofa, an extra single can be added to make accommodation for three people. Cosy rugs and beanbags and even a little wood burner. You have electricity and wifi.

The Luna is in the grounds of The Meditation Lodge Retreat and you share the indoor facilities, there is also an outside toilet.

You will enjoy all the facilities and activities of the retreat but with the added magic of experiencing sleeping under the amazing Spanish skies. There are lots of romantic Indian lanterns and candles and a fire pit.

You can book the Luna as a single person or come with friends. In the Luna can sleep three people.

Sample daily schedule

  • 08:30 Meet in the lodge for Tai Chi and yoga, followed by breakfast taken on the terrace
  • 10:30 Meditation and discussion
  • 14:00 Lunch in the garden
  • 15:00 Free time for treatments, readings, trips out, relaxing, or swimming
  • 19:00 Dinner
  • 20:00 Qi gong moon flow exercises

There will also be evening of activity such as chakra balancing or an evening visit to the local village of Busot and the coast.
