Relax, Relase & Rebalance

Relax

Meditation has been used for centuries by ancient eastern belief systems as a way to contact the higher and inner self allowing the channels to be opened through deep relaxation, and a quiet mind. This powerful tool can be used to pursue your spiritual journey if that is the path you choose, or a means to a more relaxed peaceful and centred mind.

Life in the 21st century has brought many pressures and we live our lives in a very different way to those of a Buddhist or Hindu, but we can take a great deal from this form of release for the mind, body and soul. The Chinese say Dis-ease can lead to Disease, we are aware the damage to our health that stress can cause so it is important we each find a method of relaxing our minds and bodies.

At the Retreat we combine gentle Yoga and Tai chi, guided meditation and discussion, holistic therapies, laughter and often some tears to help the process of relaxation.

Release

Release – through practising meditation and visualisation there is a release of stress and anxiety, deep seated anger and disappointment and a lack of direction and clarity of vision for the future. Learning to release old emotions such as anger and resentment that are so harmful to the mind and body is highly beneficial in every way to your well-being.

“Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured” Mark Twain American Author.

Live each day as if it is your last. Life is short if you spend all your time getting angry and hanging onto anxiety and stress, you will miss the joy that life can offer. To ensure that long term changes are made in for a better future then the past must be forgiven and released.

Rebalance

When there is an in-balance in your life then nothing flows smoothly, in-balance in your body and emotions causes ill health and anxiety. Work life balance is important for your relationships and mental well- being, so helping people to achieve balance is a vital part of our programme.

The power of positive visualisation can lead to the power of positive thinking and that is how we see people leave the Retreat, calmer, stronger and more balanced.
